I need this same book for one of my classes. You don't go to Dallas Christian College do you?

No, I don't. I actually want to go through Hewitt's Honors Church History course and need the book for that. What class are you taking?

History of Christianity. I am in the adult evening program at Dallas Christian. They also do online courses so I find people all over the world taking the classes.

Christianity arose in the 1st century in the region of Palestine. It grew out of Judaism, but also came in contact with pagan mystery religions, Greek philosophy, and the cult of the Roman state.
