He's showing incredible potential in the drawing dept. His sketches are well, amazing (to me anyway!). For example: he showed a drawing of a dinosaur he made (using a drawing book) to my dh and dh thought it was my drawing! He did a drawing from memory today of a hawk flying, complete w/ the shadow on the ground. Anyway, I really want to "capitalize" on this potential and interest w/ a "real" drawing program. I have Draw Write Now books, some Usborne drawing books, etc. and they are great for my other dc who just like to have fun w/ it. I'm looking for something more substantial for ds9, something that will really teach him drawing techniques, KWIM? It could be a book, but I would really like something on DVD where he could watch a professional drawing and learn from him/her. Is there anything like this out there? I'd put him in art classes, but we are too far from any art store or studio for that to be an option. Thanks for your suggestions!
