Dh is working out of town and went to the ER last night for extreme pain in the arch of his foot. They gave him painkillers. I talked to him 2 hours ago and said I'd call right back. I called back around 10 min. later and can't reach him. I don't know whether he is passed out from the pills, out to eat and forgot his phone, or back in the ER. They diagnosed him with gout without doing any bloodwork or tests. He talked with his Dr. friend up there who says it's probably unlikely. This is so frustrating because he is working there for 2 weeks and won't take the time to see another doctor. Thanks for letting me vent.
