My youngest flew off her scooter last week and subsequently had an x-ray of her knee. Her knee was fine but they found a bump on her femur a few inches above the knee. The pediatrician said it was probably a bone cyst but we needed to go to an orthopedist. The orthpedic PA has ordered a MRI and said we should see the visiting pediatric orthopedist on Jan. 31st. My insurance is slow like molasses and I thought I would check online to see x-rays f similar things and then decide how much to push for a quick approval of the MRI. Does anyonehere have any experiences with this or knows of helpful sites for me?
