No sir, I don't like it:

It's totally non-intuitive and nothing at all like using a PC or even an ATM. (What's with the crazy dial-a-candidate doohickey?!)
Did I really vote? Or did I just send some wishful thinking into the ether without a punched card to show for it?
The equipment is costly, unnecessary, and probably easily hacked, IMNSHO.

That is all. ;)

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I tried it last November. I just hated it.

Today when they gave me a choice, I went back to paper. Old-fashioned, maybe, but a whole lot simpler!

more and more on the paper vs computer vote. I think there are some states doing away with the computer version entirely. There are too many ways to go wrong--hacking, no receipt, glitches, etc. It seems like, if it HAS to be computer, the makers could provide a receipt like ATM machines.

I completely agree. Plus, I feel like it would be very easy to track who is voting for whom. It has a very big brother feel to it.

We didn't have the dial-a-candidate doohickey, though. We just had a touch screen.

We know that RP got at least two votes today, so we can at least keep 'em honest that way!
