I found a Lial's Precalculus for a great price. I'm not sure it's the one I should get. Here is what it is:

Precalculus, 3/E
Margaret L. Lial, American River College
John Hornsby, University of New Orleans
David I. Schneider, University of Maryland

ISBN-10: 032122762X
ISBN-13: 9780321227621

Is this a good one to get? It really needs to be self teaching because I can't help my dd at all. She does well with self teaching.
She did Lial's Intermediate Algebra this year.

Thanks for your help!

Be sure to get the DVTs just in case she needs video support... solutions manual too. Once you get the text it will have the isbns for those--they should not be a problem to find.

I have a different Lial Pre-Calc text--and a Larson Pre-Calc text...my dd will be using the Larson text--Dr Mosley lectures as she needs the visual and really doesn't want me to 'teach' her (just tutor on occasion...which means DAILY:tongue_smilie:). We will use the Lial text as a reference--I like the written examples better in the Lial text.
