TOG writing

I am looking at TOG for my (will be) 4th grader for next year. We haven't used a formal writing program and are just doing narrations, dictation, and copywork this year. It seems that everyone here who uses Tapesty adds a writing program. Do I need to supplement with CW or IEW, or will the built in program be enough?

If you go to the TOG forums and/or the email lists, you will find many people who use the writing program and are quite happy with it. For me, I prefer the progymnasmata for our writing program, so chose to use a separate program. As I get more and more comfortable with TOG, I can see that I might use some of the TOG assignments on occasion.
