My 7 yo keeps picking up the Midbenders I got for my girls

They are 5th and 7th grades and have to do 2 a week. Granted the book says 3-6th grades. I know I have a book for him, somewhere, but I can't find it. I'm beginning to wonder if I should have him do the girls' book as well. Thoughts?

Why not? We did a couple Mind Bender & Red Herring books last year -- my ds was 6-7 and loved them even though he was well below the suggested grade level. And when you do find his book, he can do that too. You don't have to formally assign him the work, just let him pick it up and do it! :)

I agree. Let him pick up the book and give the puzzles a try while you keep looking for the other book.
