I'm trying to decide whether or not to attend a meeting about this. I'm looking through their website, but would really like to hear your first hand accounts. Like it? Dislike it? Too time consuming? To expensive? Help :D?

It doesn't hurt to go to the meeting right? maybe meeting the people and seeing the program close up will help you decide.
For me the program is actually more money than I have budgeted for the whole year for my kids curriculum. I couldn't afford it if I wanted to. A second thing for us is that my ds has memory issues and so it would have set him up for failure. Otherwise it looks like a solid academic co-op.
They had a meeting about it in my area recently but instead I am going to a meeting about a more informal classical co-op starting. I have high hopes that it will be more of what we are looking for.

If memory work is important to you, by all means check it out. You can even train to be a tutor, which lets your kids go for free in our area. I asked my df about this, and she said it's the best thing she's ever done for her kids.
They use the Veritas history cards and memorize them in order (front, not the back), to give the kids "pegs" on which to hang the details later. They learn mathematical formulas, so they can learn about them later. They do wonderful science experiments. They make learning these things and other painless. I'd do it if I could afford it--I don't want to be a tutor.
