Our son has done very well with Jacob's Algebra 1. Now that he is facing the prospect of geometry in the fall, he is experiencing a bit of anxiety, remembering the difficulty he encountered with the introductory concepts in Singapore 6a/b. I am looking for a quick pre-geometry, or geometry light course he could work through first to alleviate some of his concerns. We met with great success doing Keys to Algebra prior Jacobs. And I had considered the Keys to Geo., but have since seen that it is a bit less than what I am looking for. Would LoF Geometry or Patty Paper Geometry fit the bill? I'd love to find something fun for him...to distract him from his belief that he just isn't good at geometry.

Thanks!

I think any of those would work. My dd just used an inexpensive workbook from a teacher's store, because she had a big gap from jr. to sr. hi geometry.

Also, I'd let your son know that Singapore's geometry is quite advanced and in 6B they are using it in ways similar to the word problems at the end of that level -- giving you minimal information and letting you use logic to find all the rest of the info. He should find most American geometry programs will go much more slowly after that experience.
