The Memphis convention is not so hot so I'm on the lookout for a few good conventions to choose from. I am mostly looking for really good/motivating speakers.

Have you been to the Memphis convention before? Each year I look into it and then don't go. I really don't want to waste my day, although I would have liked to hear Steve Demme from MUS. I should clarify that he was a speaker last year or maybe year prior.

It's further than 4 hours from you, but this year's Atlanta convention looks like it's going to be awesome. SWB and JW are both speaking, too. It's near the end of July.

:iagree:with you! The past few years I have gone to the MTHEA conference in Nashville. They have plenty of vendors and workshops, even mini-camps for the kiddos, but no keynote speaker(s). I won't be able to go this year, though, because we'll be out of town.:( Their website is www.mthea.org.

Miss. Home Educators Association will be 3 hours from Memphis on the campus of Mississippi State on May 16-17 I believe. You can google the association's site for sure. They should have it posted.
