looking for communication skills program

I'm looking for something to use with my 9th grader this year or next year for communication skills. I want it to cover general conversational skills, work-related skills, tailoring your speech for your audience, reading your audience, ...

I have The Gentle Art of Verbal Self-Defense, but I would really like to have something that is actually laid out for me to teach.

Any suggestions?

Do you know about "Communication and Interpersonal Relationships" by Dave Marks? He is the author of Writing Strands materials, and this book is set up much the same as the WS books. It is designed for students from gr 6 - 12.
