Did any of you watch Babel?

Dh and I did so last night, but it was only within the last 5 min. that we figured out there were English subtitles.:rolleyes:
It was painfull and there's no way I'll watch it again, but I'd still like to know how that Japanese (?) girl fitted into the plot. For some reason I couldn't understand a word/gesture she said!

The girl's father, when he was a tourist in Morocco (?), gave his tour guide a gun as a gift (he had been on a hunting trip). The gun he gave was used by the boy in the bus shooting. The investigation into the gun lead the police officer to her apartment to speak to her father and opened the door for her to attempt to work through her intimacy issues. HTH

I loved that movie. I'll have to watch it again soon because I feel that I missed so much the first time.

I watched it and didn't care much for it. I can't imagine what it would've been like without subtitles, though! LOL!

I was frustrated with the movie; liked parts and disliked others... too predictable. I think I may have liked it better w/o the subtitles. :eek:
