Omnibus users -- Has anyone used the Spielvogel study guides?

I found guides to go along with the Spielvogel history text recommended for use with Onmibus I. Here's a link to one:

Has anyone used this or something like it along with Omnibus/Spielvogel? Would it be overkill?

If you don't mind using the net, the print guide probably won't be necessary. Wadsworth puts so many great, free "study aids" on line for the Spielvogel text.
