One Year Adventure Novel - used it? Seen it?

I am thinking of getting this for self-education and perhaps my daughter would like to do it for 8th grade. (She is entering 7th grade now.) I have read (and loved) The Writer's Journey; I think this curriculum has some of that idea. Opinions?
