I can't print Lively Latin from Mac

I finally took the plunge and purchased Lively Latin this morning. I can view everything but when I try to print from my Mac, it keeps saying "unable to print". I just don't know how to trouble shoot my computer at all and I am getting so frustrated. I finally spent the money and now I can't even use the program.:mad:

I don't have a mac but are you clicking the "print" function in the open pdf window?

I've tried both from the open file and the menu bar

I have a Mac and it has been printing fine. I open the linked file from the website, do as "save as" and then open in Preview (like Adobe Acrobat) and then print. I have not tried printing directly from the web, is that what you're trying to do?

Oh, I hope you figure this out because I want to get LL and I have a Mac! It is probably a preferences issue in adobe reader (the program that is most likely opening your pdf files). You can always try calling an apple store.

I assume my dh could figure it out but I wasn't planning on buying it for a couple of months so that won't help you.

I am thinking that part of the problem is the somehow my acrobat got changed to adobe reader. I will try saving it. Thanks for the idea.

I saved it and tried to print it not even connected to safari. It still says unable to print document. Since last week I have noticed that some things would not print. I guess it is because of Adobe Reader. I hate that I am so computer illiterate.

Are you running OS X? Do you have "Preview" as an application for opening pdf files? If yes, try opening the files w/ that. I just checked Apple's website, it doesn't look like Preview is a download, it looks as if it is part of the operating system...meaning if you have OS X, it should be on your computer.

I found preview and it worked! I just love all the support that is available on this board. I was ready to throw my computer through the window. I can't wait to start this with ds tomorrow.:D
