I heard of two, but can't remember either one.

How about a video instead of a ditty? This is the one I really like. Click on knit stitch and voila! http://www.helloknitty.com/videoinstr.htm I've been quite successfull in learning continental and can do it quickly now. Good luck.

Another great video site is knitting help dot com. That site has gotten me through making a sock!

Do you mean this? But I think that it's for the English version though:

"In through the front door, dance around the back, peep through the window and off jumps Jack"

How about:
'In with the needle; over with the wool; through with the needle; put the old one to bed.'
This one is probably 19th century since it is from my English grandmother. I love to hear my two children chant it now.

Under the fence,
Catch the sheep,
Back you come,
Off you leap!

Until today I hadn't realized there were ditties, but this one sound perfect for continental knitting.
