Does Chalkdust SAT review work for the ACT?

Ds's are taking the ACT in June. We borrowed Chalkdust's SAT review from friends. I noticed that Mr. Mosely works with test taking strategies for the SAT.

1) Do the strategies apply to the ACT? for instance, are ACT questions presented in order of difficulty like SAT questions are?

2) I know that the ACT has some trig on it and the SAT doesn't. Otherwise, is the actual material covered in Chalkdust's SAT review appropriate for the ACT?
