I keep going back and forth on keeping simple records on an Excel spreadsheet and getting a software program. I was on the Homeschool Tracker website, looking at the screenshots of the various tools.
I see that the lesson plan schedule is tied to specific times of the day. Can you enter LP without having to assign it to a time? Other than pre-planned things, such as piano lessons and other outside activities that have a set time, I have never planned this way. I just write down what needs to be accomplished each day and we get it done. Wow - I must sound like an unstructured person! That is so not me -- I'm extreme (almost an*l) when it comes to structure, but I am unable to say that we will do "x" from 8-8:30, then "y" from 8:35-9:25, take a break from 9:25-9:40, etc. That seems to much like regular school. I must be changing, as I'm usually more of a rigid person. Sorry for the tangent, but it did kind of throw me for a loop. :tongue_smilie:
Is there an option to just enter the plans for the day?
How long did it take you to become familiar with the program?
Sheri :)
