It called me "Just Visiting." Do the larvae have seniority over the just visiting?

:D

Hi Robin!

I've been wondering about the visitor/larvae sorting myself. So, lets see what I am, and how my avatar and signature came out.

How about adding a picture for your avatar??

I've been hoping for the same thing.

...you go from "just visiting" to "larvae." I read it somewhere around here!

Someone mentioned the visiting status advancing once you got past 10 posts. I don't think I'm there yet, so I couldn't say though.

Oh yay, I can be a larvae too!! :D

The family can wait on dinner until I make my 10 posts, right?!

Okay, this will be post number three

Robin in Tx
01-18-2008, 09:42 PM

P.S. I don't know how to do an avatar, but as soon as I figure it out, I'll try to upload one.

Jenn... my dd started lessons back last week. We've got some work to do, but she feels great and we're really excited!

One one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand...

Post number 5! Gonna scoot around the forum and get a few in elsewhere...

To get an avatar click on user cp and then click 'edit avatar'. Upload your (very small) picture and use :)

And so far I am up to 45 and no change. It might be 50 or 100... who knows ;)

Robin --

I'm glad to hear your dd is playing again. I didn't play for almost 15 years, but got my "groove" back pretty quickly once I started again.

If I can figure out how to post a photo within the message, I'll post a picture of my 3 month old, bright green, 5 string electric violin! Its really cool!

This is my 11th post. I should be larvae by now. So at 50, you get to be a worker bee? This is really funny. I wonder who came up with all this? LOL

~Rachel~
01-18-2008, 10:10 PM
Yes I think it happened when I hit 51... I know it was not on post 50, then I forgot to check :p

~Rachel~

Robin: probably whoever first coined the term 'hive mind' for us :)

Oh my, so now I have to get up to 50 posts so I can be a worker bee? Do I really want to be a worker bee? What comes after worker bee and will I ever make it to queen bee? This is stressing me out some just thinking about it. Guess I better get to posting some more....

I'm glad yall figured that out. I wondered why I was just visiting. I don't want to visit, I want to stay!! :p

oh dearie me -- the pressure to post!!

I'll never be a worker bee as I don't think I have even posted 50 posts to the original boards and I started visiting them back in 2000 or 2001!!

I'll be a very happy larvae for years to come, until the last one graduates!!

Yes, it shows up!

I don't know, Krista... being low level larvae has its advantages.

And you know, I can't say it would make me feel very good to see the words "Queen Bee" under my name anyway! LOL

~Rachel~

:D
I'm just upping my numbers so when I come back after a long break (my usual pattern) I at least LOOK significant ;)
Oh that, and the fact I like this format :) AND I wonder what is up next...

I'm experimenting. I just "added to your reputation" with a similar comment. I LOVE the avatar. It caught me completely off guard and I burst out laughing...

I want to be a larva, but then I really want to know what is next and when I'll be that.

Seems like we regs could have jumped in higher than larvae. LOL

Pamela H in Texas
01-19-2008, 01:52 PM
Worker bee is next....as far as I can tell, you get there between 32 and 52...probably 40 or 50 posts. Only a few people have that many so far.

Karin

So, now you're a honeymaking bee. See how quickly things change? I'm just posting here for fun because I want to see a very old post make it to the first page (yes, really mature of me, I know:D. When I went back to the first few pages, though, most of the posts were moved because they were about the new boards, and it's very hard to find old posts that you could still repsond to. Not that I plan to make a habit of this, but I wanted to try it once.
