Aren't those moments, when you realized THINGS HAVE CHANGED, rather shocking.

The other day, I agreed to take my boys and their friends from hockey practice to the outdoor rink. They still had their skates and all their gear on, which not only made my boys taller and bigger than me, it made some of their friends absolute giants. As I followed these big, lumbering (and stinky) boys, I marvelled that this was my world. Where did the little shrimpy things, that used to be mine, go?
