Bought a Lial's text at a garage sale. Is this the right one?

My ds will start Alg. I next year. I've read many of you suggesting that a Lial's Algebra text would be a good one to use. So, is this the one? Is it considered an Alg. II book? Or AP????

Thanks for your help. They were only $1.00, so if they're not right, it won't be a big loss.

College Algebra, Lial, Hornsby, Schneider, 2001, Eighth Edition.

I have the textbook and the Studen't Solutions Manual.

My understanding is that College Algebra comes after Algebra 2. The titles in the Lial's series are:

Introductory Algebra (alg. 1)
Intermediate Algebra (alg. 2)

for $1, sounds like you got a great deal!
