I am trying to help my middle start whittling down colleges. I think that she is wavering between law, psychology as in experimental, and political science. I am not really certain where her scores will end up because her 10th grade PSAT when she had a migraine was okay (math) to very good (writing) but certainly lower than her brother's who ended up a commended scholar and would have been a finalist if we had not moved to Europe. She will be testing in VA and I don't expect her to do as well but she has totally surprised me at times since she is such a tenacious student.

She hasn't been able to articulate much about what kind of college she wants other than she wants a significant portion of students wanting to learn and she wants a school with less pressure applied to students. (She applies so much to herself that she doesn't need or appreciate tons more put on her). I really don't know how to look for this. Any ideas? We don't have any idea where we will be living in 2 1/2 years when she goes to college so we don't have preferences based on area.
