I am putting together my end of the year portfolio and need to write up course descriptions for each subject.

Anyone will to share theirs? I figured...why reinvent the wheel, especially since Saxon has been around a while.

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure I stole these from some resource online (Ha!) when I needed them.

Saxon Algebra I with Geometry (1.0 credit)

This course will provide students with the fundamentals of algebra and introductory problem solving. The emphasis is upon frequent introduction of small concepts and upon continuous review. Credit and grades from Algebra I taken in 8th grade will be reflected on high school transcript.

Saxon Algebra II with Geometry (1.0 credit)

This is a continuation of the fundamental skills of algebra and of problem solving from Algebra I. Geometry and
some trigonometry are included in many practice sets.

Saxon Advanced Mathematics with Geometry (2.0 credits) (On some applications I just called this "PreCalculus".)

This is an advanced course in problem solving and algebra application. It provides a synthesis of algebraic,
geometric, and trigonometric concepts, and lays a foundation for calculus.
