Cross post...Question?? Jr High and Sr High artistic pursuits....

Both book 1 for Jr high and Sr high seem the same.... are they? I want to use it w/ RyLee (11) and Christian (15)..... Christian is artistic and the 11 year old does ok... but Im wondering if I can get by with one book and one level??

I have been looking it over and Im not sure... I cant see to far inside to comapre it.

Any thoughts?

Book1 never covers drawing in color; book 2 does. They cycle and each set of books gets more difficult in the concept and in the assignment, but they so cover many of the same concepts. if I had 2 in that age range and if the older one was not really knowledgeable about art, I'd go with the junior high book.

My oldest has had some instruction with Monart. We had a school in town. She has also been in an oil painting class, but can’t say she is very knowledgeable.....
