View Full Version : Trouble with History/Happy Scribe downloads & contacting the company

Monday I ordered from Westvon Publishing, the sellers of History Scribe & Happy Scribe (and a few other cool things). I was able to download all of 2 things I ordered. I tried downloading repeatedly on 2 different computers.
So I emailed. The next day I called (voicemail box was full). I emailed again at another address. Wednesday, I called again and was able to leave a msg. Thursday, I called another number I found on the website and left a msg. No response.
It is Friday and now I'm :mad: -- has anyone else had trouble downloading stuff from this company and then successfully made contact & gotten their downloads?? I know they're having a sale right now...so they're bound to be busy. I don't want to keep "pestering" them, but I want what I paid for!!
I think a nature walk is in order, perhaps a little fresh air & sunshine to soothe my ruffled feathers.

I've ordered from them on several occasions and have had no problem downloading. I find it odd that you are not able to reach them as I have had wonderful service from them in the past. Could they be away?? Don't worry about pestering...keep trying...they own a business and should absolutely expect you to follow up and get what you paid for. In fact, I think they'd be happy to put it right.
Deep breath. Nature walk. Chocolate. Try another day...or two...no rush. Serenity now!

I've never had trouble downloading any of their products as of yet. I hope they contact you soon and resolve it to your satisfaction!

Yes, I've been happy with the service although sometimes they haven't gotten back right away...but I think they are a small company.

Sorry you're having trouble. I've always had problem-free downloads and excellent service from them.

Thank you all -- I feel better knowing that you all have gotten good customer service in the past. Their customer service messages on their websites sound so cheery & helpful, it seems odd that none of my contact attempts have been responded to. They can't possibly have accidentally deleted everything from me via email & phone!!! Maybe they all have the flu. :) I will start calling and emailing again on Monday...

I recently had the same problem with a download from Westvon. Eventually they got back to me with an email and direct link to the materials I had purchased. No questions asked. But the first few times the link from my online payment and the one on their website failed. I'm sure all will workout in the end.

And she did eventually follow up, but it took her almost a week to get back to me. In the end it all worked out fine! I have since ordered other things and have not had a problem.
I'm sure it will work out!

It has all worked out! Sherri has emailed me all the files I ordered. :) She said they were overwhelmed by the response to the sale, are sick, and "have 42 pots on a 4 burner stove!" Well, I can empathize with that.
Besides, through this little purchasing adventure, I have acquired a nifty 3-step plan to battle stress from Maria:
