Screening Assessment

So we're thinking about having DD (5 in 1 week) do a summer camp at William & Mary and becuase she'll enter K in the fall they require a screening. Anyone have their little one screened and if so, how much info. was it really able to provide. We know she's advanced but I'm wondering if it'll tell us if she falls on the gifted scale. They will be doing subtests from the Weschler and Woodcock Johnson.

They just do the minimum to see if your child qualifies. It doesn't give you any overall score or indicate how he/she would do on the other subtests.

I think it is just to see the basics. Nothing too intense or formal. I wouldn't worry about it.
