My son would like to see a sample of Foerster's Algebra and Trigonometry. He's been using Chalkdust for the past two years and likes it, but my long-term plans have always included Foerster. Of course I'm willing to forgo those plans if necessary.

I was searching through the WTM archives (http://www.wtmboards.com/HSboardmay25/messages/1416.html) and came across many helpful posts about Foerster's from Lene, LaJuana, and more. I also came across the board where Devin's death was announced. I still miss her. She was one of the kind, wise women who helped welcome me to this board back in 2002, she was such an encouragement. It's almost 4 years since her death. I hope her family is doing well. :grouphug:

Ahh, I still have some of the used books I bought from Devin, and I was just reminiscing about her art history outline (does anyone have that?) on another board.

There are some copies selling for a very low price on half.com. I am probably not suppose to mention that. None belong to me...but I saw them there a week or two ago.

That is how I saw samples of Foerster and also how I compared side by side Speilvogel's HO, WC, WH.

Besides Susan's fine suggestion of interlibrary loan, you may wish to use the advanced search feature on WorldCat (http://www.worldcat.org/advancedsearch). That way you can see if any libraries in your area might have the book.
