Hotel Information
We are very pleased that the Marriott in Williamsburg will be accommodating the Well-Trained Mind Conference. Peace Hill Press has made arrangements for you to receive a promotional rate of $129 per night (plus taxes of $14.90 each night) at this beautiful hotel.

If you intend to arrive before April 30 or check out after May 3, you must call the Marriott (757-220-2500) to receive the discounted rate for your entire stay. Information about Children
(Please read ALL the information below if you are bringing your children)
Your conference registration rate includes you and your spouse; it also qualifies your older children for the workshops designed especially for them. Please let us know the names and ages of older children who will be attending workshops (we will contact you for this information after we receive your registration).
Several of our conference workshops are designed with your children in mind. On Friday evening, Jim Weiss will present bedtime stories for parents and children. Come in your pajamas. On Saturday, Jim will host a lunchtime story hour. You may purchase preordered individual lunch boxes for you and your family. Sorry, no outside food is allowed at the hotel or special session (this is a hotel regulation that we are unable to change), and children must be accompanied by an adult. All are welcome.
Your children are welcome to attend sessions with you. Please note that several workshops are designed to include middle grade and high school students; however, we do ask that you be mindful of other attendees. Please think carefully before bringing children who are too young to sit through a session. If your child creates unnecessary disruption, one of our conference minders will politely ask you to step outside until the child quiets down.
Conference seating is limited. Please make alternate arrangements for your children during workshop hours; if the room fills, we will need to assign seating to adult conference attendees.
Because the lecture room is sloped, strollers will not be permitted in workshops for safety reasons.
Peace Hill Press has also made arrangements with Colonial Williamsburg for you to purchase promotional discounted tickets for April 30, May 1, or May 2. To take full advantage of this offer, visit Colonial Williamsburg with your family on the day before the conference, or send the kids with your spouse while you enjoy our workshops.
